Explanation:

The Moon has long inspired poets (and lovers) and apparently can creep into the soul of even hardened lunar cartographers. Ralph Aeschliman, previously a cartographer and planetary airbrush artist at the US Geologic Survey Astrogeology Brach in Flagstaff, found that doodles oozed out of his tools in between his airbrush strokes on maps of the Moon, Mars and Venus. This doodle is one that grew from random brush marks that suggested planetoids, aliens and other figments of the science-dominated brain of an artist.
