Pervye dva komponenta yavlyayutsya teplovymi: pervyi - bolee holodnyi - po vidimomu ispuskaetsya vsei poverhnost'yu neitronnoi zvezdy. Istochnikom vtorogo, bolee goryachego, yavlyayutsya goryachie tochki - shapki na magnitnyh polyusah. Razmery shapok u etih treh pul'sarov sil'no razlichayutsya.
