Avtory polagayut, chto vo-pervyh, eti sobytiya formiruyut novyi tip zvezdnyh vzryvov, sostavlyayushii kak minimum bolee 10 procentov ot vseh sverhnovyh, svyazannyh s kollapsom yadra. Vo-vtoryh, oni delayut eshe bolee interesnyi vyvod.

    Delo v tom, chto vokrug zvezd-praroditelei etih vzryvov ochen' mnogo pyli. My znaem takie zvezdy, no ih ochen' malo.     Eshe v odnoi stat'e (arxiv:0809.0901) takzhe s pomosh'yu chislennogo modelirovaniya issleduetsya struktura i obrazovaniya galo temnoi materii. A v arxiv:0809.0886 obsuzhdaetsya, smozhet li Fermi-GLAST obnaruzhit' sobstvennoe dvizhenie subgalo. Otvet: skoree vsego net, t.k. maloveroyatno, chto dazhe blizhaishee k nam subgalo budet dostatochno blizko dlya etogo.

A vo-vtoryh, sistemy s ochen' bol'shim poglosheniem, prichem pogloshenie svyazano imenno s samimi sistemami, a ne nabiraetsya po doroge.

    V stat'e daetsya podrobnyi obzor po etim sistemam, a takzhe kratko opisyvayutsya vazhnye dlya ponimaniya voprosy.

I vot ot GRB 080514B zaregistrirovan potok na energiyah vyshe neskol'kih desyatkov MeV uzhe posle togo, kak ischez potok na standartnyh dlya gamma-vspleskov energii. Pravda, rech' idet o sekundah. Vsplesk dlilsya 7 sekund, a eshe 6 sekund posle etogo prihodili zhestkie kvanty.

Poslednyuyu vspyshku (sentyabr' 2007) udalos' predskazat' s tochnost'yu do dnya. Esli by ne bylo gravvoln, to vspyshka proizoshla by na 20 dnei pozzhe.

    Model' dlya takogo povedeniya kvazara dvoe iz avtorov obsuzhdaemoi stat'i predlozhili eshe v 1996 godu. Odna iz chernyh dyr dva raza za period peresekaet akkrecionnyi disk vokrug vtoroi, chto i privodit k vspyshkam. Otmechu, chto vse-taki eto lish' odno iz vozmozhnyh ob'yasnenii.

    Sam istochnik byl izvesten kak peremennaya zvezda eshe v 19 veke, v 1968 g. on byl identificirovan kak kvazar, tak chto statistika po nablyudeniyam ego vspyshek nabralas' uzhe poryadochnaya. No lish' v proshlom godu dannyh okazalos' dostatochno, chtoby popytat'sya s tochnost'yu do neskol'kih dnei predskazat' sleduyushuyu vspyshku (skazhem, v 1996 godu avtory eshe ne mogli eto sdelat').

    Pro rasstoyanie do ob'ekta pochti nichego ne izvestno. Krasnoe smeshenie opredelit' ne udalos' (net nikakih spektral'nyh detalei, kotorye by govorili o nenulevom smeshenii).
