    S odnoi storony, fiziki ochen' konservativno otnosyatsya k lyubym astronomicheskim dannym, kasayushimsya fundamental'noi fiziki. Hochetsya vse-taki vse "potrogat'" v laboratorii. Naprimer, ne prosto uvidet', chto dannyi po stalkivayushimsya skopleniyam galaktik odnoznachno svidetel'stvuyut v pol'zu sushestvovaniya temnoi materii, a poimat' chasticy na kakoi-nibud' podzemnoi ustanovke, "poshupat'" ih. S drugoi storony, inogda prosto nekuda devat'sya. Astronomicheskie dannye chasto okazyvayutsya na poryadki luchshe, chem laboratornye. Eto osobenno kasaetsya teorii gravitacii i ogranichenii na evolyuciyu fundamental'nyh konstant.

    Za poslednie dni moe vnimanie privlekli srazu neskol'ko rabot tak ili inache podhodyashih pod rubriku "astronomiya i fundamental'nye teorii". Samaya ob'emnaya stat'ya astro-ph/0610571 posvyashena probleme obnaruzheniya dispersii signala ot gamma-vspleskov za schet effektov kvantovoi gravitacii. Ya ne raz obrashalsya k etoi teme. Ideya tam dostatochno prosta. Esli vy odnovremenno izluchili dva gamma-kvanta raznoi energii (takoe dolzhno proishodit', naprimer, vo vremya gamma-vspleskov), to, rasprostranyayas' na kosmologicheskie rasstoyaniya, dva kvanta stanut "razbegat'sya", tochnee, odin budet otstavat' ot drugogo, ibo dvizhenie proishodit ne v ideal'noi "pustote", a v real'nom prostranstve. Fotony budut chuvstvovat' "kvantovuyu penu".

Poslednee i pozvolyaet avtoram rassuzhdat' o magnitarnoi prirode nablyudaemogo ob'ekta.

    Na vsyakii sluchai podcherknu: rech' ne idet o rodstve istochnika s takimi izvestnymi kandidatami v magnitary kak anomal'nye rentgenovskie pul'sary i istochniki myagkih povtoryayushihsya gamma-vspleskov. Rech' prosto idet o neitronnoi zvezde s ochen' bol'shim magnitnym polem, prichem zvezda vhodit v tesnuyu dvoinuyu sistemu. Mne lichno sovsem ne nravitsya upotreblenie termina "magnitar" v takom kontekste. Magnitar - eto, vse-taki, ne prosto neitronnaya zvezda s bol'shim polem, a ob'ekt, ch'ya aktivnost', svyazana s polem. zdes' zhe aktivnost', skoree vsego, svyazana s akkreciei.

Naibolee privlekatel'noi ideei, opyat' zhe na moi vzglyad, ostaetsya gipoteza o tom, chto v sluchae etogo pul'sara my nablyudaem perehod mezhdu rezhimami tokovyh poter' (model' Beskina, Gurevicha, Istomina) i magnito-dipol'nymi poteryami (sm. astro-ph/0608689).
