Другое WBVR Standards in the Northern Sky. Analysis of Variability Using MZ Technique
PZ, vol. 33, N 8 (25.12.2013) | N. L. Kroussanova, A. V. Mironov, A. I. Zakharov

From our comparison of magnitudes of bright stars in the Hipparcos catalogue and in the Tien-Shan catalogue of WBVR magnitudes, we compiled a list of stars that could be candidate photometric standards in the northern sky. The selected stars were tested for variability using the MZ technique. The result is a list of 6484 stars recommended as standards.

Другое HD 305629, an Eccentric Ellipsoidal System
PZ, vol. 33, N 7 (1.10.2013) | S. A. Otero, G. di Scala

The new variable star HD 305629, with a Cepheid-like light curve, is demonstrated, from our optical observations and ASAS-3 data, to actually be an ellipsoidal variable star on a highly eccentric orbit. It resembles the X-ray variable star BP Cru. HD 305629 deserves further observations in other wavelengths.

Другое A Photometric Study of the Pulsating Variable Star TYC 0075 01143 1
PZ, vol. 33, N 6 (18.09.2013) | A. V. Khruslov, A. V. Kusakin

We present the results of our new observations of TYC 0075 01143 1, a recently discovered double-mode delta Scuti variable. We improved the frequencies f0 and f1 and pulsation amplitudes, detected the interaction frequencies f1+f0, f1-f0, and a possible nonradial frequency fN.

Другое BVRI CCD Photometry of Two New Variable Stars in the Field of Seyfert 1 Galaxies Mrk 478 and Mrk 1513
PZ, vol. 33, N 5 (2.09.2013) | V. Doroshenko / MSU, Crimea

CCD BVRI photometry is presented for two new variable stars in the fields of the Seyfert galaxies Mrk 478 and Mrk 1513. The new variables change their brightness periodically, with the periods P=0.341d and P=0.4422d respectively, and it is possible that they belong to the close binary eclipsing stars of the W UMa type.

Другое New Eclipsing Variable Star with Delta Scuti Component
PZ, vol. 33, N 4 (25.06.2013) | V. Solovyov, A. Samokhvalov, B. Satovskiy

We present our discovery a new variable star USNO-A2.0 1350-17086180 from observations at the Astrotel-Caucasus Observatory. The object shows Algol-type eclipses and, simultaneously, low-amplitude, short-period pulsations.

Другое Novae in the 80th Name-list of Variable Stars (Part 3): Official Announcement of GCVS Names
PZ, vol. 33, N 3 (4.04.2013) | E. V. Kazarovets, N. N. Samus

GCVS names are announced for 14 galactic Novae discovered in late 2011--early 2013.

Другое Two Transiting Exoplanet Candidates in Cygnus from the MASTER Project
PZ, vol. 33, N 2 (25.02.2013) | A. Y. Burdanov, A. A. Popov, V. V. Krushinsky, K. Ivanov

We present two transiting exoplanet candidates in Cygnus discovered during a small photometric survey performed at the Kourovka Astronomical Observatory of Ural Federal University in the summer of 2012. The MASTER-1 b candidate (host star 2MASS 20260213+5006032, R=12.4) has a period of 0.847d, transit depth of 0.015m, and transit duration of 1.6h. The MASTER-2 b candidate (host star 2MASS 20341625+5015427, R=13.8) has a period of 0.983d, transit depth of 0.017m, and transit duration of 1.7h. We believe that these transit-like signals might be caused by Hot Jupiters. Observations, data reduction, transit search tools, and detected candidates are described. Follow-up photometric and spectroscopic observations are needed to clarify the nature of the candidates.

Другое GSC 1374-01131, a High-Amplitude Delta Scuti Star with an Eclipsing Component
PZ, vol. 33, N 1 (12.02.2013) | A. V. Khruslov / Tula, Russia

I present the discovery of an eclipsing component in light variations of the known High-Amplitude Delta Scuti star GSC 1374-01131 based on the Catalina Surveys publicly available data.

Другое Photometric Observations and Preliminary Modeling of Type IIb Supernova 2011dh
PZ, vol. 32, N 6 (6.09.2012) | D. Y. Tsvetkov, I. M. Volkov, E. Sorokina, S. Blinnikov, N. Pavlyuk, G. Borisov

CCD UBVRI photometry is presented for type IIb SN 2011dh for about 300 days. The main photometric parameters are derived and the comparison with SNe of similar types is reported. The light curves are similar to those for SN IIb 2008ax, but the initial flash is stronger and very short, and there are humps on the light curves in U and B at the onset of linear decline. Preliminary modeling is carried out, and the results are compared to the quasi-bolometric light curve and to the light curves in UBVRI bands.

Другое Spectroscopic Evidence for Appearance of a New Decretion Disk Around IGR J06074+2205
PZ, vol. 32, N 5 (16.08.2012) | A. Simon, A. Bondar, N. Metlova

We report on a new episode of decretion disk formation in the IGR J06074+2205 system. Our spectroscopic data permit us to measure peak separation in the double-peaked H-alpha line as 408+/-55 km/s and hence to determine the disk radius as 1.6 star's radii. These findings permit us to predict possible new X-ray activity of IGR J06074+2205 in the nearest future.
