Remarks:
During a stay of one of the authors (N.N.S.) at Strasbourg Observatory, a search for variable stars at high galactic latitudes was undertaken in the publicly available data of the Northern Sky Variability Survey (NSVS, Wozniak et al., 2004, also see http://skydot.lanl.gov/nsvs). We analyzed the NSVS observations using software developed by Dr. V.P. Goranskij.
